4/14: Children and others picked up trash at Jonan island Seaside Park (https://seaside-park.jp/park_jonan/, a seaside park located at the edge of Jonanjima, Ota-ku, Tokyo)!
Garbage the size of one large plastic sheet was scattered on the sandy beach and in the shallow waters of the sea.
Since it is difficult to pick up each item one by one, we use a rustling net to scoop them up while observing the sea.
Children's little hands can scoop up all kinds of plastic trash under their feet and make it look nice and clean! !
While picking up trash from the shallows, I went to the rocky area and rustled around, and there I found the "Iso-eared goby," an endangered species that blended in with the baby shrimp and baby gobies.
We didn't know it at the time, but the kids were so excited! ! ! !

Two weeks ago, we collected two large garbage bags of garbage, but there was a lot of garbage floating and stranded... Will garbage from cherry blossom viewing be washed away? ?
The next activity will be held at the same location on April 28th in the morning if the weather is fine! !
