Activity Report(collecting trash) @Jyonan Island/ nearby Haneda Airport

3/31: Children and others picked up trash at Jonan island Seaside Park (https://seaside-park.jp/park_jonan/, a seaside park located at the edge of Jonanjima, Ota-ku, Tokyo)!

Just like the previous day on the 30th, the temperature was over 25 degrees, hard to believe it was March! (Now the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom earlier.)

As for the target area for trash pickup, start from the rocky area on the right side when facing the beach.

Just like the day before, we collected garbage with a net (due to strong winds, the garbage bags were easily blown away). It seems likely that I feel strongly that the environment fosters flexibility in children 😃

If you use a net, the sand will fall off on its own, so it stays light! Stay light!!

Plastics of various shapes, bottle caps, etc.

Ice cream cores, sauce lids, interdental brushes, disposable razor cases, etc.

I finally found something terrifying... The needle of a syringe, which was in a case, fell on the beach...

Honestly, I was really disappointed... I would say shocking is the right word...

A case that off easily... How awful scene...

A glimpse of plastic tags in the shipping industry... I am not criticizing those industry nor workers, just telling the truth and want you guys to know about the reality of the beach in Tokyo.

At the place where I play beach sports every Saturday morning, there are three plastic bottles filled with water.

As a type of garbage

・4 large Pet bottles

・14th mid size PET bottle

・76 Cap of PET bottle

・18 Straws

・13 Candy bags

・3 Ballpoint pen lid

・43 Tobacco core/butt

・7 Pill holders

・12 Inner lid for sauces, etc.

・Syringe 1(Used!!)

・Other plastic fragments/Big garbage bag size 1

Compared to the river, there is still a lot of garbage...

The next activity will be held at the same location on April 13th or/and 14th in the morning if the weather is clear! !

Chao!!!!
